Great Lakes Controls of NY is a value added distributor of industrial automation, controls, motion, and drives products and solutions. Our marketplaces are the OEM’s, End Users, and Systems Integrator companies in Upstate and Western New York. Our customer base in this territory is very diversified, with applications in Automotive, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Metals, Semiconductor, Food, Tire and Rubber, Machine Building, and many other industry segments.
Started in 1983 as a branch operation of a Cleveland, OH based company, Great Lakes Controls has a long heritage of sales, service and support in New York State. The NY business came under local ownership in 2001 when three former employees of GLC purchased that piece of the existing company’s assets. With strong ties to the NY State market, strong employee dedication, the best product lines in the industry, and an unwavering commitment to servicing what we sell, the company expanded and moved into a larger, state of the art facility in April 2007.
