Siemens Introduction to Step 7 Programming
( Prerequisite Win2000/XP Users ) |
| This is a class for the programmer who will be using Siemens Step 7 for the first time. The course includes hardware overview, system architecture, and IEC 1131 program & data structure. This class will be hands on with
practical lab work. The course goal is to give the programmer a kick start in order to start to use this very flexible and powerful software tool. |

Introduction to Siemens Safety Integrated (
Prerequisite Step7 Training or experience ) |
| An introduction to doing machine
safety inside the Siemens S7 PLC system. Includes an overview and
discussion of the necessary hardware archetecture/modules/cpu's etc.
Also includes training on the use of S7 distributed safety programming. |

Profibus Networking |
| This course will include a general overview of network theory. It will then detail the design, configuration, and installation of both the Profibus DP and AS-Interface I/O networks. |

Introduction to Ethernet/Profinet |
| This course will include a general overview of networking architecture, including topologies, media, media access methods and network protocols.
Ethernet infrastructure components ( cabling, switches, etc. ) will be
covered in detail, as well as Ethernet protocols. Setup,
configuration, and use of Profinet will also be covered. |

Introduction to Siemens Drives |
| This course will provide an overview of Siemens General Purpose AC Drive Offering , a detailed review of drive parameterization and application, use of Siemens
Starter Drive Configuration Software, and
drive installation considerations. |

Introduction to WinCC Flexible |
| This course will offer an introduction to WinCC Flexible HMI configuration software. Topics include communications, tag configuration, screen development, alarming, and recipe management. This course will be useful to previous ProTool users as well as those that have no experience with ProTool. |

Siemens PLC Based Motion |
|
This course provides an overview of using the
Siemens S7 Programmable Controller for motion control in conjunction
with the Sinamics S120 drive system.
The first portion of the class covers configuring the Sinamics
S120 for motion control in the drive, and interfacing a standard S7 PLC
to control the drive. The second half of the class involves performing motion
control in the PLC using the Technology CPU.
This involves configuring the Sinamics drives for use with the
Technology CPU, motion axis setup, and motion instruction programming in
Ladder Logic.
